Answer Short Question
In this job, you will hear a question and have one or two words to answer it. The job tests how well you can understand and answer simple questions in English.
Write Essay
In this job, you’ll be given a topic and given 20 minutes to write a 200-300-word essay on it. The job tests how well you can put together an essay in English.
You should speak and write English every day to get ready for this part. You can also practice by recording yourself and listening to the tapes to see where you need to improve.
Section 2: Reading (32 – 41 minutes)
Reading is the second part of the PTE exam. It tests how well you can read and understand academic English. There are five tasks in this section:
